Help and get involved

As a member, you help enable the work of the association here in Germany and actively participate in decisions at our general meetings. You can also volunteer beyond the membership fee and help shape our work.

The membership fee of €36/year secures the work of the association, including administrative costs such as expenses for development processes, printing and advertising costs, website, postage, etc.

Think, act and change together

The work of the association is diverse and extensive and has so far been carried out mainly by the board. At least once a year, there is a general meeting in which members can participate either in person or online. The interest of members and sponsors is high, and we receive many questions and expressions of support by email or phone. Many have already been to Kenya and have personally visited the children’s home and the Sandai guest farm!
As part of this development concept, there will be tasks that will be presented and delegated at the general meetings. We welcome everyone who would like to take part!

In 2023, a club development concept was launched. This was and still is important to us in order to position the association well and securely for the future. In the process, all organizational and content-related aspects are put to the test and reviewed for future viability, legal compliance, and practicability. We are supported in this by the Conversio Institute Duisburg, which specializes in organizational development and fundraising specifically for associations and social organizations.
